  • jjcanada, it is not Obama that put the country on the slippery slope into debt. It was Bush, a businessman elected governor then President, who was handed a balanced budget and then decided one war wasn't enough. And the financial sector was running its own rogue operation.

  • Let us hope voters do not elect someone, namely Romney, with close ties to Goldman Sachs. The investigation of the financial crisis that Obama inherited needs to completed and the Goldman crowd may have reasons why they would want it stopped.

  • It's surprising that it took 49 years for a challenge to a banner that at the outset was hung in defiance of a Supreme Court ruling. Those voicing objections to removing the banner are confused about when the rule of the majority applies and when the Constitution takes precedence.
